I offer personalized yoga instruction in person or via Zoom. I work with everyone from beginner yoga students to advanced practitioners. I can help you establish a daily Sadhana or practice/ritual that meets your physical, emotional, and spiritual goals that fits into your schedule. Basic meditation and pranayama (breath work) practice is included in yoga sessions.
Yoga and breathing practices have a powerful impact on the nervous system, helping it come into balance and counteract the stress response we are often in throughout our daily lives. These practices also allow us to access the resting/healing aspect of our nervous system. When our nervous system is more balanced and integrated, our breath, emotions, and thinking mind are also more balanced and regulated.
I offer a wide range of yoga styles from therapeutic yoga to vinyasa flow, yin yoga, restorative yoga, and Yoga Nidra. I have extensive training and practice in trauma informed yoga and provide a safe space for yoga students who have experiences with physical, sexual, and emotional trauma. I also offer floor-based exercises perfect for people with chronic pain and fatigue as well as being a complementary practice to more active yoga. These floor-based practices cultivate inner listening and increase proprioceptive and sensory awareness. The exercises are non-weight-bearing and involve sliding, gliding, and circular movements to reduce myofascial holding in the body.

I also specialize in offering yoga for people in all stages of recovery from any form of addiction. Yoga 12 Step Recovery combines the ancient practice of yoga with the practical tools of 12 step recovery programs.
